Theodor Mikhaylov trained as a physician in Russia and is a seasoned leader in New York City’s early-childhood field. In 2009 he founded Little Princeton, a boutique, Montessori-inspired daycare in Brooklyn that quickly became a community favorite for its warm culture and accelerated, play-based learning. He later launched Golden Minds Prep (GMP) in Manhattan, founded Mind Body Soul Children’s Society, and co-founded Aspiring Minds Childhood Development Center. He has also helped build and develop six additional schools.
Driven by a passion to make learning both faster and more joyful, Theodor has guided classrooms, built high-performing teams, and advised schools on curriculum, compliance, and sustainable operations. Today, he serves as a general manager and consultant to daycares and enrichment programs, helping founders turn thoughtful ideas into thriving, child-centered Montessori schools.
