GMP | COOKING STUDIO
At Golden Minds Prep (GMP), our Cooking Studio turns curious kids into confident little chefs. Aprons on, sleeves rolled up—children explore flavors, practice real-life skills, and discover the joy of making (and tasting!) delicious food from around the world.
What children explore
Kitchen safety & hygiene: handwashing routines, tidy workspaces, and safe tool use
Knife skills (kid-safe): chopping, slicing, tearing, and mixing with age-appropriate tools
Measuring & math: counting, fractions, sequencing steps, and following simple picture recipes
World flavors: fresh pasta, veggie sushi rolls, dumplings, cupcakes, salads, and soups
Garden-to-table: tasting herbs and greens from our classroom planters/hydroponics
Manners & hosting: setting the table, serving, and trying “polite bites”
GMP | KARATE STUDIO
At Golden Minds Prep (GMP), our Karate Studio introduces young children (ages 2–5) to martial arts through playful, no-contact training that builds confidence, focus, and respect. In a bright, padded dojo with child-safe gear, students learn to move with control, listen with attention, and practice kindness—on and off the mat.
What children explore

Focus & self-control: “listening stance,” stillness games, and mindful breathing
Strong bodies: stance, balance, coordination, and age-appropriate strength work

Mommy And Me classes let you create some of your brightest moments in the middle of a long day. These stimulating and fun classes help you maintain your strength and beauty, while creating an opportunity for you to form lasting bonds with other parents. Having a self-care routine is essential for new mothers, and your little one will enjoy the atmosphere also. We offer prenatal and postpartum fitness and yoga in a unique combination of in-home, online, and group programs for moms and expectant moms.

At Golden Minds Prep (GMP), our Multilingual Lab gives little learners a joyful, play-based start in world languages. Through songs, stories, movement, and hands-on activities, children build clear speech, rich vocabulary, and confident communication, skills that support creativity and later academic success. We provide individual or small group classes. 
What children explore
English — phonemic play (rhymes, beginning sounds), story retelling, everyday talk
French — songs & simple dialogues, numbers/colors/animals, polite phrases (bonjour/merci)
Chinese (Mandarin) — tone play through music and movement, core words, character awareness with picture cues
Russian — nursery rhymes and call-and-response, practical vocabulary, gentle intro to Cyrillic letters
Ukrainian — folk songs and chants, daily phrases, friendly awareness of the Cyrillic alphabet
GMP | GIFTED AND TALENTED CLASSES
Our classes offer an effective method to prepare your child properly for the G&T test. Our energetic and caring teachers, along with our stimulating and fun program, encourages and motivates learners to develop problem solving skills and creative thinking. As your child builds confidence and mastery of the material, happiness and satisfaction follows. G&T questions become more challenging as your child progresses, with an approach that builds confidence and understanding. Our goal is that your child will be well prepared for any type of question he or she finds on the test.
​GMP | MUSIC AND VOCAL STUDIO
Many 3, 4 and 5-year-olds love to sing or try to play music, but they likely lack the focus for formal music or voice lessons. However, it's not too early to begin teaching your child musical concepts that will be important once they are old enough for music or singing instructions. We invite your child to participate in our music program to learn fundamental concepts through fun and dynamic musical activities. We offer vocal and piano lessons following the Suzuki method in our music/vocal studio.

At Golden Minds Prep (GMP), our Yoga Studio helps young children grow calm, strong, and kind, on the mat and in everyday life. We model core yoga values like honesty, compassion, and integrity, while keeping sessions playful and light.
